in nine hours, it'll be over. i'd have completed semester 1 out of 8 of my course for the Bachelor of Engineering (Bioengineering). i'm supposed to be studying away but i figured i'll take a short break. a bit of rest here and there makes the long journey less painful.
for the past 4 days, i've been studying like i've never studied before. 8-12 hour marathons in a tiny corner at the basement of E1, in the atrium of SIM... periodic binging and fasting, either constantly chomping away on biscuits and fruits or not finding the urge to ingest anything all day. in retrospect, it wasn't all too bad. i mean, i've had 12 years of experience of doing these, just that the intensity increases each year. for some reason, i'm suddenly motivated to finish my course in 3.5 years also. that's 6 modules each semester from next semester on. i believe i can, i just need to... invest in a very effective alarm clock and seek a more encouraging form of transport. resolution for sem 2 2005/2006: attend 85% of lectures and tutorials. (:
i asked yiren for EG1108 in a nutshell. well, i guess i got it:
(with slight modifications)

but seriously, thanks dude. for the crash course in Laplace, power factor correction, typedef, rolling motion... haha.
side note: SIM canteen's not bad. cheap and good. with nice uncles that let you finish watching the 7 o'clock show before they switch off the tv.
